'Let us dress as Londoners'

This is an illustration based on the 1988 romantic comedy film; Coming to America. It references a scene in which the two protagonists (played by Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall) buy clothes in order to fit in with the people of New York. Here they are depicted as being in London and wearing popular football shirts. The idea behind it is that; not only are they wearing shirts of the opposing teams of Manchester, but they also present a common misconception amongst football fans: that the majority of Manchester United fans are actually based in London.
