'The Village Scooter'

I often create works that have a basis in existing works. This particular illustration will feel very familiar at first glance, to those that know of The Prisoner, the iconic British television series from the 1960s. The work references the image of a Penny Farthing, a symbol of the dystopian village in which the show plays out. A symbol of oppression. My version replaces the bike with an electric scooter, a real symbol of oppression in my reality.
